I am sharing a bad incident that happened yesterday....Last day there was a party at my mother's house on the occasion of her 63rd birthday. On that occasion my father ordered Mutton Biryani, Chicken Biryani and Veg Biryani from "Ali Biryani" in the side lane of DLF-1. And made the order a day before. Order from Ali because we have eaten from him a few times and were satisfied..... Last day when Ali's brother came to deliver, he told my mother which packet is mutton biryani, which packet is chicken biryani and which packet is veg biryani. When the packet was opened, it was found that chicken biryani was not given, but egg biryani was given instead. And deliberately Ali's brother lied to mom that there was chicken biryani....when my father called Ali, Ali said "Kaku, I will send in 10 minutes"....even when he did not send, father called me several times and Ali did not pick up the phone. . Means he gave egg biryani with the money of chicken biryani and deliberately lied When I called Ali yesterday morning, the first thing he said was "out of chicken". When asked why they ran out of chicken despite ordering a day before, he replied very rudely, "It must be a mistake, next time it won't happen". I am sure that neither I nor my family will give such a "next chance" to such a nasty fraud. It's right, it can be wrong...it should have been made clear and the payment for egg biryani delivery should have been taken for egg biryani, not for chicken biryani. I learned from this incident that if there is an event at home (where invited guests will come) even if it costs a little more, it should be ordered from a reputable restaurant, so there is less chance of being disappointed. Many senior citizens like my parents live alone in Newtown, whose children are out of Kolkata on business. Felt the need to share this with everyone
