We entered the restaurant briefly due to an urgent situation, my partner needed to use the washroom urgently. We politely asked a gentleman who appeared to work there, and he kindly showed us the direction. However, while walking, a lady staff member who was wearing a black uniform abruptly intervened and asked what we wanted. I calmly explained the situation, but instead of showing any empathy or clarity, she insisted there was no washroom inside and led us toward the exit, vaguely pointing us to a “public washroom downstairs.” There was no clear guidance, and we couldn’t find any such facility nearby. What was most disappointing was the complete lack of empathy—especially coming from another woman in a moment that was genuinely urgent and uncomfortable. It would have been perfectly fine to say the washroom was unavailable, but the manner in which it was handled felt dismissive and unnecessary and disrespectful. Posting this so the management understands that sometimes people approach establishments out of genuine necessity. Basic courtesy and clear communication go a long way. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Take a walk at the Fontenas and eat at the Verandah restaurant...a magnificent bungalow turned into a very antic restaurant with extremely authentic Goan cuisine. Warm and friendly staff. Table service needs a lil bit of improvement. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹800–1,000
