Shepherd's pie

Shepherd's pie is a dish of English cuisine with a great history and one of the favorite dishes of Harry Potter. The recipe has not changed since the 18th century. Traditionally, it is made only from lamb because the English word "shepherd" denotes a shepherd who grazes sheep. In addition to lamb, the necessary ingredients are carrots, onions, and peas, and all this filler is covered with a generous layer of mashed potatoes.
