Title: Disappointing Experience – Poor Management & Hygiene Issues Review: I visited Absolute Barbecue, Porur on a Sunday for a 2 PM slot, and the overall experience was very disappointing. Parking & Waiting: Parking was chaotic, with long waiting times and no proper management. Food Quality & Availability: Starters were delayed and not served hot. Many main course items and desserts were empty for long periods, and even after waiting, most were not refilled. Live counters were very slow — after waiting 20 minutes, we were told certain items like fish, rabbit, or meat were still being prepared and needed more waiting. Hygiene Concerns: Plates and spoons were not clean, likely due to crowd mismanagement. Guests were picking food from counters with bare hands, eating while walking near live counters and main course areas, blocking the way for others. Overall Management: The staff seemed overwhelmed and unable to manage the rush. There was no effort to insist on basic discipline among guests to maintain hygiene and order. Absolute Barbecue is known for a good dining experience, but this visit was far below expectations. Better crowd management, timely refilling of dishes, hygiene checks, and educating guests about etiquette would improve the experience.
