Check out tasty vegetable pizza, garlic prawns and spaghetti carbonara Nove, The Italian Kitchen offers. Try perfectly cooked blueberry waffles, crepes and belgian chocolate. Delicious wine, cordial or margaritas are waiting for you at this place. It's nice to order good latte, hot chocolate or fresh juices.

Bella, Italia! Having lived in Italy, the expectations are quite high when Pizza and Pasta is served across the country. There is either the issue of authenticity to flavours (where price is reasonable), or the prices are really quite high for the few that get the authenticity right. (Meant for occassions, rather than regular dining). This is NOT the case though with Nove, The Italian Kitchen. A place where the ambience, prices and authenticity seem just right! Ambience As you enter the alleyway around the side of a small plaza in Banjara hills, you are greeted by the outdoor seating with a few lovely plants. On the right hand side is the entrance steps that leads you to a few more tables set quite cozily and the tables are like slates of wood, giving it a real warmth to the overall experience. Simple, yet elegant decor with appropriate lighting makes for an inviting and good feeling. Food We were first greeted with a traditional bread basket and some garlic butter for spread. There was another type of spread, but wasn't sure what it was exactly - it tasted just fine though. With the children meant pizza had to be on the order and in this case we ordered a deep dish which was part of the specials. The taste was good and my son relished every bite, even though he is particular about a thin crust, usually. For the mains we had grilled sole fish with vegetables and a chicken spaghetti. Both were great and I especially liked the colourful gnocchi that was added to the fish along with its grilled vegetables. Overall A wonderful place to visit where the prices don't burn the pocket and you get a fairly authentic Italian experience! Highly recommended if you are ever in the Banjara Hills area!
