One of the most amazing home style Burmese food places! We absolutely loved everything we ordered. Can’t wait to go back to Zwe on our next trip to Goa

My wife and I ended up visiting ZWE one evening because we liked the bar set-up from the outside. But we were absolutely thrilled to discover a place right up our alley. Lit just the right amount, with pleasant music playing in the background, having two different seating areas well decorated, it just gave the best vibe!Coming to the food, we were served by the lovely Ajinkya who took us through the specials and made recommendations since we had no clue about Burmese food. We ordered the Passion Virgin Mojito for Mocktails which was a delight. Our main course was the Chicken Chilli Basil and Beef Curry served with Palatta's which was delicious and sumptuous at the same time.5 stars for Ambience, Hospitality and of course the Food.There's lots on the menu to explore and going by what we tasted we are definitely going to be back for more, next time we are in the area.Kudos to the owners and staff for being friendly and attentive.Thank You for the lovely experience.

Zwe by Goldeneye is just spectacular. We were a large group and so sampled all the vegetarian options. Among the starters: I highly recommend the Bamboo shoot stir fry )for which the chef specially sources Bamboo shoots from Manipur), the Kachin aubergine and the cauliflower fritters (my favourite). The French fries with a Burmese twist was super yum, and a hit with the kids.For mains we had Veg and Beef Khowsuey (of course!), was fried rice, coconut rice, mango curry and ah-pon (basically Appam). All hit the spot. The khowseuy was particularly well made. Light and balanced. The mango curry was perfectly spiced. And the coconut rice was a surprise hit with everyone. I loved Ah-Pon and mango curry the most.For drinks I only tasted the Calangute Beach (Vodka based) and Fresh Orange Mojito (white rum with chunks of orange) - both of which I’d gladly come back for again. They were so refreshing!For dessert we barely had room for much. We did dig into Sticky Rice and beetroot chocolate cake with ice cream. Both yum of course. It’s a good thing the beach is next door so we could swim off the lunch:)The place and location is lovely . They have a little garden space for kids to run around in. The staff is very helpful and sweet....We’d definitely go back for more!
