A must visit cafe! The food is awesome. Almost all the items usually served in cafes are present in the menu. Do try out carrot cake here. The drinks are also great. This is run by monks from the monastery. The ambience is also quite good. Don't miss this place if you are visiting the monastery. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

We didn't eat but we did enjoy what we drank here - 1. Ginger lemon tea - a hot mug of the best lemon tea I have tasted. It's sweet, it's sour, it's lemony all the perfect amount just like Goldilocks' porridge. 5/5 2. Butter tea - think salty tea with the richness of butter. This tea comes with its own history of Tibet (Google it!). It's not how I usually consume tea but the teh flavour grows on you as you take sip after sip. 4.5/5 The ambience is quaint & attached to the outside of namdroling monastery premise.
