Kunphen Café & Food is pretty near Namdroling Nyingmapa Monastery. You can have tasty ice cream at this cafe. Coffee lovers will find it great. Guests don't like momos at Kunphen Café & Food.
The knowledgeable staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place great. The professional service is something these restaurateurs care about. It's a pleasant place with the spectacular atmosphere. But google users rated this place and it didn't gain a high rating.

Visit to Kunphen was a real sad experience when we actually enjoyed to the fullest the views and the peaceful environment of the monastery. Coming to the food the momos lacked everything it should have had. Lacked taste, the outer skin was uncooked. It was really bad. The laphing was good though. On top of that I was served a wrong coffee and the person serving did not even bother about my query. Meal type: Other Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Menu is all vegetarian

When you are done looking around the magnificent monastery, taken all the selfies u possibly can, you have to take a break at this cafe, situated inside the monastery compound. Nice outside seatings and typical restaurant seating inside as well . Run by Tibetan guys. The food is fairly good and tasty. Just the teas aren't that great. We had some hot noodles, Hot steamed Momos and Thupkha which were nicely done. Oh yes, Menu is entirely vegetarian.
