Visit to Kunphen was a real sad experience when we actually enjoyed to the fullest the views and the peaceful environment of the monastery. Coming to the food the momos lacked everything it should have had. Lacked taste, the outer skin was uncooked. It was really bad. The laphing was good though. On top of that I was served a wrong coffee and the person serving did not even bother about my query. When you are done looking around the magnificent monastery, taken all the selfies u possibly can, you have to take a break at this cafe, situated inside the monastery compound. Nice outside seatings and typical restaurant seating inside as well . Run by Tibetan guys. The food is fairly good and tasty. Just the teas aren't that great. We had some hot noodles, Hot steamed Momos and Thupkha which were nicely done. Oh yes, Menu is entirely vegetarian.
