Zarwani restaurant has a very cooperative chef Rakesh Singh. I had a special requirement of mild soups for two days and he himself came to understand my requirement and prepared nice special mild soups. Although the chefs are not so well trained and don't have enough exposure and experience of tastes which you might have tasted in the well developed city. The restaurant doesn't have wide range of menu in Ala carte but has a very cooperative manager and chef to customise your order according to your needs. One of the biggest loophole is their extremely slow service. They have very less staf to serve you at the restaurant. The staff is poorly trained as if they have either untrained, cheaply paid locals or have been come in this hospitality and customer service domain from village. I asked for extra onion and it came after 20 minutes of request and that too thrice to different members. If you plan to order your ala carte menu then come with extreme patience as they might take atleast 45 minutes to 1 hour to serve you. They even take 15-20 minutes to attend you & take your order. Nobody looks at you. For ambience, it's common and not too bad and not so peaceful and cozy. They have very loud music in the background speakers. Overall I would rate them average but because SOU has limited options and some one staying in fern would get this restaurant, people might choose to opt for this restaurant. Plan to come in advance so that you can cope up with your hunger pangs and order food in advance. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
