Very disappointing experience. Took non-Pune cousins who are visiting . We’ve always had a great dining experience yet this time it was a complete let down . The staff literally started shooing us away at 10:30 pm though we still had food on our plate. Very rude demeanour. It’s the first time ever that we’ve been chased out of a restaurant while we still clearly were dining. It’s sad how a restaurant of such repute and hard work of so many years can be marred by bad customer service.

I had been visiting Zamu's place since 1988. I liked their mutton dhansak very much. Those days they use to prepare it every Wednesday and Sunday. It was quite often that I use to visit Sunday morning for lunch and enjoy beer with dhansak. It was not very expensive those days.Later, as I got busier and the traffic also became dense, there was a decline in visits. Last Sunday I just craved for dhansak and decided to visit Zamu's place. It was almost after a decade or more. It was good to see not much change in the good old ambience and menu.. Maybe the only change was in price that has multiplied and now dhansak is available on all week days.Nevertheless, it was nostalgic experience and would like to repeat it more often.
