I don’t usually write reviews, but Zam Zam Restaurant in Kerala genuinely deserves one. Coming from a background where I’ve grown up eating Rampuri and Kashmiri food, my expectations around spices, depth, and soul in food are honestly very high. That kind of cuisine spoils you in the best way. And I can confidently say, Zam Zam didn’t just meet those expectations, it surprised me. The mandi was absolutely great rich, fragrant, and comforting without being overpowering. And the whole chicken roast? Beautifully done. Juicy, flavorful, and clearly cooked with care rather than rushed out of the kitchen. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the staff. They are absolutely delightful. These are the kind of people who actually take care of you if they see you enjoying the food. There’s warmth, attention, and a genuine desire to make sure you leave happy not just full. One moment that really stood out: they served breakfast for 5 people in just 25 minutes, and not in a “just get it done” way but with perfection. Everything was on point. Timing, taste, presentation absolutely perfect. And the kunafa absolutely perfect. Crisp, well-balanced in sweetness, and finished beautifully. A dessert that truly ends the meal on a high note. The food overall was so good that you could feel the effort behind it. Just one small suggestion, coming from pure love for the dish: in the whole roast chicken, a few slits in the breast portion would allow the masala to penetrate deeper, making it even more enjoyable and elevating an already great dish. Zam Zam isn’t just a restaurant it’s an experience that reminds you why good food, when made with care and served with heart, always leaves a lasting impression. Highly recommended.
