Decided to head to Za'tar to satisfy our craving for Lebanese food. Lets do this chronologically. Right off the bat, I would advice you to not bring a car here as parking is a big hassle. Not to detract from this establishment but it is a problem on this street in general. After about half an hour with empty stomachs we parked our car and walked towards the establishment and were handed the menu cards for Za'atar and Aglio. A cursory glance at Aglio's menu card revealed a diverse menu but I hope I get to try that out during another visit. We ended up ordering the Falafel Mezze Platter which came with a serving or salad, falafel, pickled vegetables and surprisingly tasty yet less amount of hummus. We also ordered a serving of pita, 2 of which came with a nice garnishing of za'atar, paneer shawarma and chicken shawarma. The Pita bread on the paneer shawarma was phenomenal. The harissa dressing was just amazing and the paneer was cooked to perfection. The dips they provided- tahina and toum were deeply flavourful as well. The pickled beetroots, olives and jalapeños were exquisite. A bit on the pricier side, I would still recommend for the flavourful food and the experience overall. The service was also remarkable and the wait staff was knowledgeable and helpful with navigating the menu.
