Disappointing experience — basics need urgent attention Visited Xero Degrees on Mall Road based on the strong online ratings, but the experience fell well short of expectations on multiple fronts. Cleanliness: The seating was visibly dirty and clearly hadn't been wiped down before we were seated. For a cafe of this scale and footfall on Mall Road, basic table hygiene should be non-negotiable. Washroom: There was no running water in the washroom. When I raised this with a staff member, the response was simply that she was new and didn't know — no attempt to escalate, no apology, no resolution. This is a fundamental hygiene issue, not an inconvenience. Drinking water: The cafe informed us that their RO system was "not working" and offered to sell ₹10 packaged water bottles instead. Complimentary safe drinking water is a baseline standard at any restaurant. It's not the cost that's the issue — it's the impression that a broken RO is being used as a revenue opportunity rather than fixed. Food & beverage: The coffee was served lukewarm. When the basics aren't done right, it's hard to evaluate anything else fairly. Xero Degrees has the location, the brand recognition, and clearly the customer footfall to do much better. Hopefully management takes notes like these as a chance to course-correct, because right now the operational standards don't match the prices or the reputation. If you’re looking for a top-tier brunch or a quick bite, look no further. The menu offers a great variety of options that feel both fresh and unique. I tried the Wraps and sliders with waffle in desserts and the presentation was beautiful—tastes even better than it looks! Worst thing you can do is to visit this cafe. The smell here is too bad. We ordered food here which was too bad. I m writing this review while sitting here only. We are not even able to finish the pizza. If it was possible i would have rated it in negative. Price per person: ₹1,000–1,200 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
