Writers Cafe is definitely a must-visit when you’re in Chennai. The ambience is amazing, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the food is really good. The biggest highlight has to be the desserts. Every dessert we tried was absolutely delicious, worth every rupee, and literally melts in your mouth. The only thing I feel can be improved is the pricing for toppings. For example, if a pasta is priced at ₹350, it would be better if that price already included the standard toppings instead of charging extra for each one like baby corn, olives, etc. If a customer doesn’t want certain toppings, they can simply ask for them to be left out, but the base price can remain the same. Writer's cafe located in Peter's road, Gopalapuram, Chennai. This was the second Writer's cafe branch I have ever visited. I had a great time here. Visited on a crowded after noon but still managed to get one seat. Grabbed a quick snack and read a few pages of my novel in one of the single tables nearby glass window. I loved my afternoon on that day. The mushroom food was tasty too. I loved this branch as much as the one I visited before. I have visited writer's cafe only 2 times and seem to have a delighted time here. One of the best cafe's have been to. It is a nice place to visit with groups of people or even solo. The atmosphere was very nice and tempted me to stay longer. Hope to visit again someday. Thank you. Meal type: Other Price per person: ₹1–200 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend
