Stopped by The Waterfront Bar & Grill on a weeknight for a quick bite, and the experience was mixed. The place was mostly empty, which made for a quiet and relaxed setting. There are two seating options: indoor air-conditioned seating and outdoor seating by the lake. I chose to sit outside, which has a lot of potential thanks to the scenic waterfront location. Unfortunately, the view was somewhat diminished by visible trash along the waterline, which detracted from the otherwise peaceful ambiance. We ordered a few drinks and some appetizers—the food was decent, but nothing particularly memorable. The music was decent, adding some nice background energy to the evening without being overpowering. Overall, it’s a place with great potential due to the lakeside setting, but it could benefit from better upkeep of the surroundings and more standout menu items.
