I recently moved to Pune and was excited to explore the South Indian food options here. As someone who genuinely loves dosa and has tasted authentic ones from places like Saravana Bhavan, So Southy, IdliGo, Sagar Ratna, and Dosa Coffee, I expected Wadeshwar to deliver something close to that standard. What I received, unfortunately, was nowhere near it. The Cheese Masala Mysore Dosa was soggy, poorly made, and completely lacking authentic flavour. The sambhar and chutneys were equally disappointing bland, watery, and nothing like proper South Indian accompaniments. Even the packaging felt careless. The quality was so poor that I genuinely couldn’t eat it, and I had to throw the dosa straight into the dustbin , something I’ve never had to do with any South Indian food before. For a place considered “one of the best” in Pune, this was easily the most disappointing dosa experience I’ve ever had. I won’t be ordering from Wadeshwar again. Price per person: ₹200–400
