Took the token ,Waited for around 2 hours to enter waited for the guy to place order waited food to come they wasted our time recommended to reserve a table before coming but still u have to wait. This place has been open since 1943.looks like even the British couldn’t take the wait and left the country! honestly food wasn’t worth the hype. The masala dosa was mediocre, the vada was okay, and the puri was good but not great. I’d rather go to Rameshwaram Cafe than come here again. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t even prefer Rameshwaram Cafe What a disappointment. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

I finally got the chance to visit Vidyarthi Bhavan, a place many of my friends rave about—even though they usually have to wait for over an hour to get in. Luckily, I only had to wait for about 5 minutes, which was a pleasant surprise. One thing that caught my eye was how well-equipped the hotel is with technology. Staff were using walkie-talkies for smooth coordination, and there’s an efficient system for ordering(used by waiter) and a billing system in place. However, I did find one part a bit inconvenient—the online payment is only accepted at the cash counter, which is located near the entrance. It gets a bit crowded, and hopefully, they streamline this in the future. As for the food, I tried the Masala Dosa, Vada, and Kesari Bath. The taste was good overall, but not quite as exceptional as I had expected given the hype. The Masala Dosa, in particular, could have been made a little better—the texture and flavor weren’t as standout as I hoped. The Vada was crisp and well-seasoned, while the Kesari Bath had a nice balance of sweetness.
