The biriyani is good and authentic. Customer service is not good and The hygiene needs some improvement. They won't give what we ask and instead we have to accept what They provide. Only 3 or 4 items out of the Menu list will be available in the afternoon. Atleast a proper tokening system would ease the crowd. Customers quarelling over seats is quite common here.. no separate family rooms. And the management is least bothered about the Customers.

Come here only if you care about the food, because the service is not dignified. The staff are extremely impolite, and the hotel rides purely on hype from top reviewers. Customer experience clearly doesn’t matter to them. Note: They serve biryani everyday, and not dosa everyday. Dosa is served only when they have enough crowd, and mostly in weekends and not weekdays.

We visited Shivaji Military Hotel on a Saturday and reached around 2:30 PM. Unfortunately, the which from my perspective didn’t feel comfortable or well-managed. By the time our turn came, the biryani was already sold out. Since we had waited so long, we decided not to leave and requested a parcel instead. The waiter informed us that only biryani rice was available, so we opted for that along with mutton fry. We ended up enjoying our lunch in the car. Despite the inconveniences, the food was delicious — the biryani rice was flavorful and spicy, and the mutton fry was well-cooked and satisfying. Overall, the food lived up to its reputation, but the experience could be improved with better crowd management and a more organized waiting area
