This restaurant offers Vegetarian cuisine. Being at Vasanth Vihar, taste perfectly cooked masala dosa, vada and gobi manchurian. It's time to degustate good coffee or great masala chai.

Imagine a combination of tasty dishes and the gracious staff, this is exactly what this place offers. The terrific service is something these restaurateurs care about. When you enter this place, you feel the comfortable atmosphere. But this spot has been rated below average by Google.

This was by far the worst dining experience I've ever had. The food was a complete disaster. The vegetables tasted stale, the curries were watery and flavorless, and even the simplest items like chapati and rice were either undercooked or overcooked. I honestly wouldn’t serve this food to anyone. The service was equally pathetic. The staff were rude, inattentive, and seemed completely disinterested in helping customers. If we asked for a single cup of water they will never mind it and we will beg for several times. If you're looking for a decent vegetarian food, stay far away from this place. It’s a complete waste of time and money. Never coming back. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3 Vegetarian options: There are not giving the detailed menu

FORGE AHEAD WITH FORGERY This is my comment about the Vasanth Vihar restaurant in Taliparambu, Kannur district, Kerala state, India. I, along with 51 people, visited this restaurant on 21.06.2025 saturday around 8.05 pm .We were returning after visiting the Kottiyur temple in the morning the Parassinakadavu temple around 4 pm. We were there in the magnificent Sree Raja Rajeswara temple, Taliparambu, Kannur District, Kerala state, India. After visiting the temple, we went to this restaurant at the instance of our bus driver, which turned into a terrible mistake since there were enough except a few all were negative reviews about this restaurant on Google. Coming to our experience in this restaurant complex, there is an A/C facility, a long hall in which around 40people can sit and eat, and this facility was used by my fellow pilgrims and an open space where around 10 people can sit and eat food. The common Kitchen to serve food is attached to the A/C facility, where the elite people dine in. We were in a hurry to eat and return since it was raining cats and dogs, and we had to travel back to our residences in Thrissur district, Kerala, INDIA. Keeping the urgency factor in mind, we enquired about the time at which we would be served the food, and the reply was normal time, which was told to be 15 minutes, and we all ordered the items. I gave order for fried rice and chilly gopy, and two ladies and two children in my bus were dining with me, and the order given was noodles for the children and chapati with curry for the ladies. The order was taken enthusiastically, but the food did not come to the table in time. The follow-up was done through the person who took the order, and the reply was would be delivered soon. At 8.45 enquired about the situation to the person acting as cashier cum manager and the reply was there is shortage of staff that was the prime reason and I suggested the noodles be served first since the children were hungry and were crying . Around 9:05 pm, my ordered items were on the table, but the prioritised item for the children did not appear. Our emotions got loose and on behalf of all of us I went into the A/C hall where the billing being done by the Manager cum Cashier was sitting and asked for details and a ready made SORRY was given and it was not acceptible to us since the prioritised item ie noodles was not served and another bout of SORRY and look into the matter came and at last all the ordered items were served around 9.25 pm. Conclusion: There is no ATITHY DEVO BHAVA concept that exists in the above-mentioned Vasanth Vihar restaurant, Taliparambu, Kannur district, Kerala, INDIA. In the Google review, there is no provision for a negative mark, so I with reluctantly gave one star rating, and my advice is NEVER EVER VISIT THIS PLACE AGAIN. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹200–400 Recommendation for vegetarians: Would not recommend Vegetarian offerings: Not sure Vegetarian options: Do the due diligence; there are many restaurants in Taliparambu. Google it, go through the ratings and reviews carefully, it may not take much time, but it will help to avoid embarrassment inflicted upon us on 21.06.2025. Details are given above Dietary restrictions: There is no Atithy Devo Bhava concept in this restaurant Parking space: Not sure Parking options: Free of charge street parking Kid-friendliness: Ruthlessly ignoring kids
