Indian food is nice at this place. Nicely cooked pepper chicken, biryani and beef are the best dishes. Food delivery is a big plus of this restaurant. The friendly staff shows a high level of quality at KAREEMS STORY KAKATHOD. The nice service is something these restaurateurs care about. The comfortable atmosphere can make you want to stay here for a bit longer than you've originally planned. But many visitors who use Google didn't grant this place a high rating.

1/5 – Very Disappointed with Customer Service I visited Kareems 1982 Story (Thaliparamba, Kannur) with my family on 25th July 2025. The food was okay, but the customer service was extremely poor. The staff were rude and unprofessional, and they didn’t care about how they were treating customers. When we asked for help or clarification, we were ignored or responded to with attitude. A restaurant should not only be about food but also how you treat your guests. Sadly, we had a bad experience and I do not recommend this place for families expecting respectful service. initially ordered Mexican Shawaya (Half) and within 1 minute requested to change it to a Full portion. Instead of updating the order or adjusting the bill properly, they added it as two separate items — Half and Quarter, which together makes a full, but it was billed separately and not handled transparently. It’s not just about the price — it's about how poorly the staff handled the situation. When I asked for clarification, the billing team’s behavior was rude and unprofessional. They didn’t explain properly and behaved in a way that made me feel like I was wrong to ask. This kind of customer service leaves a bad impression. I hope they improve their attitude and learn to communicate better with customers in the future. Service: 1

I tried their Appam Pollichathum Alfaham Combo. The food was absolutely delicious—flavorful, well-cooked, and served in generous portions. The combo was a great value for money, and the taste clearly reflected quality ingredients and attention to detail. If you enjoy spicy, well-marinated grilled chicken with soft appams, this combo is definitely worth trying. While the food exceeded expectations, the overall experience could be better with improvements in service and ambience. The staff were polite but a bit slow in responding, especially during busy hours. Faster and more organized service would make a big difference, especially for dine-in customers. As for the ambience, it’s quite basic and could benefit from a bit of revamp to make it more welcoming and comfortable. Some better seating, lighting, and cleanliness would go a long way in enhancing the dining experience. That said, Kareem’s remains a great choice in the area if you’re focused on enjoying good, authentic food at a reasonable price. "Overhyped Food at Kareem’s, Thaliparamba" Kareem’s is all buzz, but the food didn’t live up to the hype. The much-talked-about "Appam and Polichatu" turned out to be average at best. It’s just appam mixed with curry and a small chicken pieces—not worth the rave. It’s a reminder that not everything hyped is exceptional. If you’re expecting something extraordinary, you might end up disappointed. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: ₹1–200 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2 Recommended dishes: Appam Polichath and Al Fahm
