This place serves authentic dishes of the Tulunadu cuisine. It is super delicious and very tasty. It gets very busy during afternoon lunch hours. The Vanas special thali , bandas(squid) pepper fry, bandas golden fry, chicken kebab, chicken biriyani and anjal tava fry is delicious. Its a mict visit place for authentic coastal cuisine. Most recommended if you want to try authentic Mangalore cuisine, we tried Veg Thali, Squid Golden Fry, Prawn Ghee Roast, Crab Ghee Roast, Pomfret Tawa Fry and Goli Soda, all the items were finger licking awesome. The crab ghee roast is so far the best I have tasted in Mangalore. Service is prompt, staffs were attentive. You may face difficulty finding a table during weekends. Overall Value for money. Uff! Overpriced restaurant. They charged 1340 for 2 veg meals and 2 anjal tawa fry! In Mangalore, many hotels serves best taste in reasonable price than this hotel. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹600–800
