VB Bakery sits right at the start of VV Puram Food Street and is truly an OG bakery in Bangalore. I tried their Honey Cake (4/5) and the classic Butter Bun Congress (5/5), which was absolutely delicious and hit all the right notes. Even late at night, the place was buzzing with locals picking up breads, buns, and other treats for home. It’s a nostalgic spot with old-school charm — a must-visit if you're around VV Puram Food Street. Make it to this place to know what native Bangaloreans savoured and are continuing to savour. My favourite place from childhood. My favs are KBC bun, bub-butter jam and khara/masala bread. Their cakes and puffs are good too. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
