I had a very disappointing experience at Nanutel in Margao, Goa. Right from the start, the service was poor and unprofessional. The staff did not communicate any rules or regulations clearly during check-in, which later led to confusion and inconvenience. One of the biggest letdowns was that the swimming pool was off-limits — something that was neither informed beforehand nor mentioned at the time of booking. Additionally, there was no complimentary breakfast or food offered, which is generally a standard expectation at hotels in this range. What made the stay even more unpleasant was the staff's attitude — rude, indifferent, and completely lacking in hospitality. Overall, the experience felt far below expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and stress-free stay in Goa. Service: 1

Regarding the swimming pool, we maintain strict hygiene and safety standards requiring proper swimwear for all guests. Our team had requested the use of appropriate swimming attire, which you were unable to carry, and we had offered the option to purchase a costume for your convenience, which was declined. We apologies if this caused inconvenience, but the policy is in place to ensure safety and hygiene for all our guests. I’ve been visiting this restaurant quite often and have mixed experiences to share. My recent visit for dinner was quite pleasant — the service was prompt, and we ordered Chicken Noodles, Kung Pao Chicken, and Chicken 65. All the dishes were flavorful and well-prepared, which was impressive. However, my previous visit was disappointing. The Kung Pao Chicken lacked its usual flavor, and surprisingly, there were no cashew nuts in the dish, which are typically a key ingredient. The noodles too were quite bland and didn’t meet the standard I usually expect from this place. One major concern is the behavior of the wait staff. On multiple occasions, I’ve noticed waiters commenting and laughing among themselves while customers are still around, which comes across as highly unprofessional for a reputed restaurant like Nanutel. The food here can be really good, but the inconsistency in taste and the lack of professionalism from the staff is something that needs to be addressed.
