If you never happened to taste Vegetarian cuisine, take your chance at this restaurant. Try nicely cooked kulcha, dal makhani and paneer. Enjoy good pudding at Uss Da Dhaba when you happen to be near it. Delicious lassi is worth a try here.
The courteous staff meets you at this place all year round. Fine service is something visitors agree upon here. This spot offers you a great choice of dishes at fair prices. As most guests state, the atmosphere is quiet. 4.2 is what this restaurant got from the Google rating system.

My Smoking Tawa Rating: Ambience: 3/5 Taste: 3/5 Price: 4/5 Overall: There are several restaurants with the name 'Uss Da Dhaba" in Dehradun. This one is located at 3, Court Road, Opposite the District Court and about 1km from Dehradun Railway Station. There is another one (similar name) just a few shops to it's right, which looks shabby. The location is central, however, during the day it's jam-packed, also very crowded after 8 pm near dinner time. Parking is non-existent, except for a little road side parking for 5 to 6 bikes opposite the restaurant. There is limited seating and the tables and benches are a bit cramped. The interior is clean and recently renovated. I ordered the Patiala Thali, which costed Rs. 169 and the order arrived within 5 minutes. The thali contained veg biryani, kadi pakora, chole, kadai paneer, palak kofta, raita, kheer, some salad along with 1 paneer kulcha and one aloo kulcha. The kulchas were like stuffed tandoori rotis. Filling enough for one person, but on the downside they don't offer any refills. Chole & Kadi was very less in quantity, the kadai paneer had just one cold piece of paneer. The kofta was not great at all. The kulchas were the best item. Food was average in taste, nominal in price, but not exceptionally tasty. This is a pure vegetarian joint, so non-vegetarian foodies - prepare to be disappointed.
