This place serves thali which includes aloo sbji,chola ,dry mix veg and meethi chutney which is served with bedmi puris all for 120rs. You can also order gulab jamun and boondi raita . The food is really good ,with quick service and you will get fresh food for sure since the place is overflowing with people. You will have to wait 15-20 mins atleast to get a table . Located at a very busy street , it is recommended to walk and park the car in the outer area or visit early morning for hassle free car entry. Chetan Swadisht Kachori is a popular, budget-friendly eatery in Dehradun, perfect for anyone seeking a delicious and affordable breakfast or snack. Located in the Paltan Bazar area, close to the Dehradun Railway Station, it is situated right behind the Shri Hanuman Mandir, making it particularly crowded on Tuesdays, Saturdays, and throughout the day on Sundays. Despite its name suggesting that it serves Kachoris, the shop actually specializes in thalis that include an assortment of sabzis such as Chole, Aloo Sabzi, Sitaphal/Kaddu, and one dry sabzi. These dishes are accompanied by flavorful Poori or Bedmi Poori. Although they offer unsalted Boondi Raita on the menu, it is available for an additional charge. Guests can either dine in or take food to go. The menu also features a few sweet items like kheer, ladoos, and hot gulab jamuns. The food has a fantastic taste. The staff truly stands out for their exceptional service. The waiter who attended to us was cordial and pleasant, consistently ensuring that we had enough food on our plates. Amazing place to eat. We reached here in the morning at around 9 AM, since it's in the middle of the market there can be issues while parking the car so please plan accordingly. As we reached in the morning we were able to get an empty table for 4 pretty easily. Although they call it kachori it is actually bedmi poori(as we call it in delhi), the quantity & quality is really good. After eating this you won't feel hungry for a while, so if you are a light eater probably 2 people can eat in a single plate(so that you have room for their desert ).
