The overall experience was quite pleasant. The atmosphere was really inviting and comfortable. The food was acceptable; some dishes were enjoyable, while others were less remarkable. Located at roof top in the Pullman hotels. Food and service was very good. Hands down the worst meal experience I have had in a very long time. I was so sad and disappointed to see our beloved Up North restaurant reduced to such poor quality in food and service. The interiors are outstanding, very beautiful atmosphere, but the experience of this restaurant starts and ends there. We were a party of 4 for dinner tonight. They got almost all our orders wrong or poorly cooked or both. We returned our first starter - which arrived some 30 mins after we ordered it,and after reminding the staff - the galouti kebab was poorly made, tasted slightly stale, and was served cold. The next starter arrived another 10 mins after that, and was slightly better, as it was well made and was lukewarm. After this we got a poor replacement of the first starter, as we complained about it. The third starter we ordered never showed up. The mains we ordered came over 1 hour into our dining, and after 2 reminder calls. Also no one refills your water glasses till you ask at least thrice. The main course we ordered did not come all at once, and the breads we ordered were not what we were served. We had ordered an amritsari kulcha and got something like a naan instead. By this time we were too hungry to argue. So we ate the dal.makhni and 'naan' , cancelled the rest of our order (which came after we had finished eating) and left. Such a sorry state of affairs for such an iconic restaurant. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5
