To start with, I'm not someone who leaves a review unless the food/service is very good or extremely bad. Unfortunately, today my lunch at Spice Haat turned out to be the latter! I suggested Spice Haat to my team for our corporate lunch and we booked our table couple of days back. And needless to say both myself and the team left with an overwhelming sense of disappointment post lunch. I will divide my review into just 2 parts, to keep it simple - The good and the bad. The Good: - Staff service and hospitality was good, staff from start to end were kind and responsive. - Ambience was definitely a plus, calm lighting, beautiful art work and thankfully no unnecessary loud noise in the form of bad music. The Bad(Bear with me as it is going to be a long list): - The parking space is confusing to say the least, every board in the parking space is reserved for the deserted Mall that's on the back side. - Hand wash: Being an Indian, we all love to use our hands to eat, but if you are someone who loves to eat with your hand I would advise to stick to the available cutleries. Because, you will need to walk from one corner of the lobby to another(well outside of the restaurant) just to wash your hands! Before you ask, no finger bowls either. - Food: With all the great reviews online and a special recommendation from a Vice President at my workplace, our expectations were high. But right from the first bite, to the last - all we tasted was disappointment. Every single item that we had was either bland or poorly seasoned. Biryanis were mid. The level of contradiction between the restaurant's name and the actual food, I can speak for days about it. Now coming to the worst part - The fish that we had, in all forms had a dishwasher kind of a smell in it and other meat were rubbery. Only saving grace was the dessert section where the chocolate fudge cake and ice creams were really good. Even the pizzas from live counter were hard and barely had any spice in them. The juice dispenser was empty for the most part. To sum it up, I felt embarrassed in front of my team. Conclusion:. I have several other teams asking for feedback on the lunch so that they can plan theirs. I would never recommend this place. While the spread of items looked impressive on paper, no words can describe the disappointment we had on taste. Humble request to the management, please put more emphasis on taste. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹2,000+

Very disappointed with both the quality and preparation of food as well as the service. We went as a group of 13. Had taken friends from abroad. It literally left a bitter taste in our mouth. The manager also didn't seem too close concerned or apologetic. I left my number with the manager and we haven't received a call yet.
