An Unforgettable Experience at Uncle Aunty Dhaba: Great Food, Honest Service, and Heartwarming Hospitality During a recent trip to Uttarakhand with my office mates to explore Jim Corbett National Park, we stopped at a place called Uncle Aunty Dhaba for a quick bite. Hungry and eager to try the food, I dug right into my meal, enjoying every bite of the flavorful, home-cooked delicacies. The food was simply delicious, and the ambience of the place was welcoming, with an atmosphere that felt like home. However, the true story began after we left. On my return to Delhi, I realized I had left my jacket at the dhaba. Initially, I didn't panic but figured it would be tough to recover it. I tried to locate nearby petrol stations to contact the dhaba but had no luck. Then, as fate would have it, I stumbled upon a picture of the dhaba online, which displayed the phone number on their board. I called the number, and to my surprise, the restaurant owner, Rajender Singh Rautela, immediately acknowledged that he had found my jacket and promised to send it back once he reached the market. Though I was doubtful at first, Rajender kept his word and continuously followed up with me. He wanted to know the best way to send my jacket—whether by courier or through personal delivery. His proactive, honest, and customer-focused approach was remarkable. In today’s world, where we often question the integrity of others, people like Rajender Singh Rautela are a rare gem. His dedication to customer care and honesty, above all else, made this experience so special. I was not just happy to recover my jacket; I was overjoyed to know that people like Rajender still exist, and they bring a sense of warmth and trust to the world. If you are ever traveling near the Kaladungi range, Devidhura Road, or the Kurpankha area in Uttarakhand, I highly recommend visiting Uncle Aunty Dhaba for a delicious, honest, and heartwarming experience. It’s a place where not just the food, but the people and the service, truly stand out.
