Ordered Set Dosa, expecting a soft, fluffy delight with a side of flavorful chutney and sagu. What did I get? A crime against South Indian cuisine. First off, the dosa was so dry it felt like it had been left out in the sun for three days. And the sagu? Oh, wait—it was just potatoes again. I don’t know if Udupi Garden has a personal contract with a potato farm, but I’d love to remind them that sagu is supposed to have vegetables too. Where are the carrots? The beans? The peas? Did they all take a vacation? If you love eating plain potatoes with cardboard-like dosa, this is the place for you. Otherwise, save yourself the heartbreak and eat elsewhere. Udupi Garden, I’m begging you—set your game up, not just the dosa. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
