Tiger Yaki is an absolute hidden gem near Carter Road, Bandra, serving excellent Japanese and Korean food. It’s a no-fuss place with indoor AC and outdoor seating, where food is served in takeaway-style boxes and bowls. We visited as a group of six, including two kids, and loved everything we ordered—corn dog, veg and mushroom gyoza, tofu katsu curry, and mushroom and prawn takoyaki. The food was fresh, delicious, reasonably priced, service was excellent, toilets are available, though parking can be tricky. Getting a good seat can be a challenge if you’re in a group of 4 and above. The indoor setting can sit just about 7 to 8 people so most of the times you’ll have to sit outside and face the heat and mosquitoes.
