Italian and Japanese cuisines are must-order ones at this restaurant. The chef at Amazonia cooks tasty butter prawns, shrimp tempura and asparagus tempura. Do not go away without tasting perfectly cooked raspberry cheesecakes, raspberry cakes and Italian cakes. Good cordial, gin or wine are what can make you come back to this place. A lot of visitors order delicious coffee, pineapple juice or bread drink.

The food here was underwhelming. The BBQ grilled chicken was decent but excessively buttery for my taste. The lasagna was surprisingly good and easily the best dish we had. The pesto basil pasta was bland, no salt, no seasoning, no character. Both the Margherita and BBQ chicken pizzas were extremely disappointing.. paper-thin crusts with barely any toppings and zero satisfaction. The sushi (rock shrimp tempura roll and spicy salmon roll) was acceptable, fancy enough. The risotto was overly creamy and heavy, lacking balance, did not suit my palate. What made the experience worse was the staff’s attitude, not welcoming at all. Food was served with an air of indifference, almost as if they were doing us a favour. Overall, for the price and reputation, Amazonia fails to deliver. Not worth the hype. The upscale ambiance is the only thing that stood out.
