New Review - Honey Braised Pork in Milk - Rs.280 Garlic Bread (extra) - Rs.50 Three Pines Cafe, Red Cross, Laban Cafe - Italian $$$ 24.09.2025 Three Pines Cafe was our hang out spot since 2012 as a friend lived next door before he got married. Infact I have tried out a few " First Time" dishes here. This was a popular spot as it catered to a whole range of clients. From the college kid who always went for the "Quarter" plate pork fried rice to customers who wanted to try out some proper continental dishes. However, I've not eaten here ever since my friend shifted his home in 2022. Anyway his brother @rapbor.t who would also hangout together in this cafe, called me to inform that @3pinescafe had just finished renovating & so I thought I should definitely give them a visit. In the last 12-13 years, this was the second time this cafe is renovating & so I wondered how it would turn out this time around. The menu has gone through some changes. I saw a few of my favorites no more as well as a few very interesting ones while the quarter plate system was also still around. The interesting dish that caught my fancy today was the Tuscany based Honey Braised Pork in Milk. I ordered a plate & I was asked if I wanted rice or garlic bread. Well I asked to include both. Anyway here is my review of this All Time Favourite cafe. Ambience - 4.6 The ambience has gone for a complete makeover. I almost didn't recognise it, it looked so much more sophisticated. I liked how small details have been given attention to. Even the stylish premium quality plastic chairs matched the aesthetics. The interiors was pleasant without being over bearing. The outdoor seating was no longer open & had some privacy. Service - 4.4 The sole waitress was polite, smart & very active. The food did take 25mins to arrive but understandably so.
