The biryani had an average taste overall. The portion size felt dense, as just two bites were enough to make it feel quite heavy—leaving me wondering about the ingredients used. Unfortunately, it seemed overrated given the quality. The accompanying chicken thokku gravy had a slightly sweet flavor, which did complement the biryani well. While it’s not a dish I’d highly recommend, it may appeal to those who prefer heavier meals with a touch of sweetness in the gravy. First place to introduce thokku biriyani in Chennai.. taste of biriyani and thokku combination will make you visit often and never disappointed. Had a great briyani for 150 rs. The thokku chicken for the briyani tasted top notch with good mix of spices providing the perfect taste. Quantity was also good for the price.They have also gone to a new place which is quite big than their old ones by putting up shades using shamiana and thereby giving out a lot of space for customers to stand out and have a relaxed briyani punch.
