The food looked as good as it tasted. The Burgers were well made — nicely toasted bread, fresh fillings, and generous portions. The fries were crisp and not greasy, and the salads were fresh and balanced. What really stands out is the overall presentation — everything comes plated cleanly and looks appetizing, which definitely adds to the experience. The outdoor seating/view of the field gives a calm, open feel and makes it a great place to sit back and enjoy a relaxed meal. Overall, good quality food, nice ambience, and a pleasant place to spend time. Would definitely visit again. I would rate this (0/5) if I could! I visited The Cargo Kitchen (SOGO) specifically for an English breakfast, only to be handed a menu that was completely different and significantly more expensive than the one posted online. To make matters worse, I was informed that the English breakfast has been discontinued. Who discontinues an English breakfast? Choosing to come here on Christmas morning with my family turned out to be a huge mistake and one we deeply regret. We placed our breakfast order at 11:30 AM, and it was finally served at 12:30 PM, a full hour later. We ordered two overpriced sandwiches: a BLT and a chicken salad baguette. The portion sizes were shockingly small and did not meet even basic expectations, let alone “5-star” standards (FYI- It was smaller than a pattice/mini puff you get at any bakery) The sandwich size was insufficient even for children, and absolutely unjustifiable for adults, especially at a price point of ₹350 - ₹400 per sandwich. What a shame and an outright scam! The baguette bread was stale and hard enough to potentially break someone’s tooth. These were not even sub-par sandwiches. It was all fake presentation with no flavour and stale bread. When I raised this issue with the staff member, Dexter, he couldn’t even offer an apology, let alone attempt to resolve the situation. His attitude was arrogant and egoistic, making an already bad experience even worse. My precious Christmas morning was completely ruined. Every member of my family left deeply disappointed. This was a horrible experience overall. After paying, Dexter said he would revise the bill but was relieved I paid the bill already so he didn’t need to put in any efforts. How disgusting?! Highly not recommended for normal days, and absolutely not for special occasions. I will also be sharing this experience on Instagram and other social media platforms to warn friends and family to avoid this place and save themselves from a similarly disappointing experience. We were staying at Aansav Verde and decided to explore this cafe as reviews suggested it would be a great choice. However, on our first visit we had to wait for 40 minutes for a slice of cheesecake and a milkshake (not joking!) On the second visit there was no one at the counter for 20 minutes. Finally a person showed up and said they were closed. In the middle of the day. I’d really wanted to like and enjoy the place as I think the food would have been great, but the service lacks completely. Meal type: Other Price per person: ₹400–600 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
