Papa Joe’s, Goa — A True Taste of Goan Soul! Had one of the most authentic Goan meals here at Papa Joe’s! We tried the Tiger Prawns Butter Garlic, King Fish Goan-style Curry, Pomfret Tawa Fry, and Bangda Curry — each dish was cooked to perfection with that home-style Goan touch. The flavours were rich, balanced, and genuinely comforting. The food paired beautifully with their Goan poi (local healthy bread) and that amazing homemade lemon pickle that instantly stole the show. And to finish on a sweet note — the Chef’s Special Artisan Jackfruit Ice Cream was simply outstanding! From the tree to your bowl — one of its kind and absolutely delicious. Overall, a wonderful place with warm hospitality and food that truly celebrates Goa. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic, flavour-packed Goan dining experience. We really enjoyed the food at Papa Joes it was awesome. Pork Roast was superb. Rice n prawns curry was also good. We ordered Fish Fry Kingfish also very tasty. Homely owners coupled with tasty seafood make a terrific combo ! Began with dragonfruit juice from their own grown fruits, and spent the whole meal on Masala Crabs and Pomphret Fry ! Was searching for some good Indian seafood (not the continental one) in Goa, and Papa Joe's restaurant is really a gem ! Ended the night with homemade mango icecream which was delicious too !
