What a lovely slice of paradise. I was pleasantly surprised to find this hidden jewel all the way out in Bileshivale/Dodda Gubbi. Class mixed with comfort and aesthetics to match, The Yellow Tree was impeccable. Cosy decor, comfy seating, visually pleasing ambience matched with wholesome, well plated food, this place is Highly recommended! Went for a mom-son outing today and just wanted to explore as we've passed by it a couple of times in the evening and it has always been warmly lit and inviting all the time. The wait staff gave us options, seated us, offered menus, water, glassware and left us until we were ready to order. Before we ordered, he rattled off the days specials and have us a breakdown of the items we inquired about as if he made the menu himself! (In a good way) Shortly after, the food arrived piping hot and very well presented. We ate to our hearts content when we were pleasantly approached by the chef owner, Priya, who was kind, humble and a delight to speak with. She broke down the dishes and sauces and gave us a little understanding about how the food has been made and where the ingredients were derived from. If you're visiting and see her around PLEASE make it a point to say hi! She's a very knowledgeable person who Loves food and it shows on the plate. The kitchen staff(who we could see) all had hairnets and gloves where appropriate. The friendly wait staff well presented and the furniture clean and tidy. We belted our entrees, mains arrived just before we finished our last bite, and the lovely Priya came and wowed us with dessert. We pushed back because we were stuffed, but her genuine love for food shone through again, so we accepted a teeny Lemon Magic dessert. O. M. G. Blew our mind. Such a good taste and flavour pairing along with texture combination and colours. It was a good decision to indulge in the sweet treat after all! We will definitely be back and we'll bring friends. Enjoy yourself if you go there and get the Wine sangrias by the pitcher! Thank you for having us Team Yellow Tree Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This quaint little restaurant is a perfect example of fine dining without exorbitant prices. The food is scrumptious and the service is exemplary . I highly recommend the flambéed fig salad and lots of the rings dessert. The staff is attentive and quick to execute the order. The owner is friendly and goes out of her way to make your meal memorable. The overall vibe is buzzing.
