Honest Review: Disappointed Despite the Beautiful Ambiance We recently visited "The White House Restaurant, Rooftop & Banquets" with friends and family, drawn in by its popular vibe and the promising ambiance we’d heard so much about. And yes — the atmosphere was indeed lovely. The setting offers a nice ambiance and the seating is well-arranged, giving off a premium feel. It's a great spot to hang out and click some pictures. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience just didn’t match the vibe. Waiting Time We had to wait quite a while before being seated, which we understand since the place was almost full — but the waiting area wasn’t very well managed, and staff seemed overwhelmed. ️ Food Experience Here’s where things went downhill. We ordered: * Mushroom Stuffed * Manchow Soup * Veg Curry * Tandoori Roti * Sizzling Brownie Honestly, not a single dish stood out. Everything tasted just… average. * The Manchow Soup lacked the usual spicy kick and flavor. * The Mushroom Stuffed felt dry and under-seasoned. * The Veg Curry and Tandoori Roti combo was basic — something we felt could’ve been made better at home. * Even the Sizzling Brownie, which we were excited about, was underwhelming — the brownie wasn't rich or fudgy, and the sizzle effect felt forced. Price vs Value For the price we paid, we expected a much better food experience. The portion sizes were small, and the taste didn’t justify the cost. It felt like style over substance — you're mostly paying for the ambiance. Service Service was slow and inattentive, possibly due to the crowd. Staff didn’t check in after serving, and getting their attention for basic things like water refills took multiple calls. Verdict: Come here only if you’re looking for a top ambiance to chill with friends, and not for a quality dining experience. We were really hoping for more, but sadly it’s not worth it for the food or price.
