Here you will be able to taste good chicken, biryani and sandwiches. Do not go away without tasting tasty kulfi. This restaurant provides food delivery for the convenience of its customers. Nice service is something that people highlight in their comments. Average prices are what you are to pay for your meal.

My friend ordered from here once. Food had gone stale. If we didn't know any better, we would have eaten the fungus ridden food. I don't care if their business is slow or there's a demand for yesterday's food in town, I'm not eating here again.

I have been ordering food from The Take Away Shop for quite a few months now. I'd attempt to give a short brief on this outlet, the pros and cons of the food and so on.

The take away shop is based on a European concept wherein there is a centralized facility, which prepares all the food, this prepared food from the facility is delivered to various outlets in the morning before the shop opens and when you order food from here they basically take this pre-cooked food put it in a plastic container and shove it in the microwave, heat it, pack it and deliver it to your doorstep.

The quality of the food is pretty good but a lot of there dishes lose their flavor due to re-heating in the microwave.

Dishes to avoid-
1) Everything listed in the "Indian Bread" section of there menu. Example- Chapati, Kulcha, Paratha etc. Reason- It's just pre-made rotis/chapatis packed in a plastic transparent wrapper and heated in the microwave. It just doesn't taste good. You're better off ordering freshly made rotis from a local restaurant.

2) Except the plain rice that they offer, everything else is not good in the rice section of there menu. Better steer clear from the jeera rice, and all the veg and non-veg biryanis. Reason- Jeera rice turns mushy when heated in the microwave in a plastic container, and the biryanis completely lose there flavor due to the re-heating in the microwave. I'd recommend going for the plain rice as they taste decent, everything else please avoid.

3) The grilled sandwiches are okayish, nothing great, you can have much better and tastier sandwiches, from a local sandwich person.

Must have dishes-
1) All there desserts are top notch and a must have. They're authentic and very tasty. Please try ALL the desserts, including the kulfis.

2) The kulcha wraps, there chicken dishes (home style curry, chicken adraki etc)  are all very tasty and made with decent ingredients.

3) There rice combos are up to the mark and offer you varieties, they're all very appetizing and the quantity is enough for a one time meal.

=Everything else the vegetarian dishes and the European dishes are all decent and is worth a try.

Recommendations-
1) Please chuck that microwave into the dustbin and get an oven instead to heat your food. The microwave plays havoc with the flavors and the texture of the food.

2) Please offer more varieties for your combo meals, the present combos are just up to the mark of a necessity, I got bored with the combo meals in a week, I think a fresh dash variation should be added to keep the food exciting.

Thank you!
