Jai Hind College is a great attraction for tourists who come to eat at this restaurant after long walks. According to the guests' reviews, Indian dishes here are quite nice and the menu is well-organized. At The Society, visitors may order good grilled chicken breasts, dal makhani and chilli prawns. Taste tasty vanilla ice cream, crepes and kulfi. A lot of visitors order delicious wine, brandy or martinis. Great lemonade, juice or tea will make your meal better and you'll surely come back.
The convenient location of this place makes it easy to reach by any transport. The success of this spot wouldn't be possible without the nice staff. Spectacular service is something that guests note in their comments. Reasonable prices are what you will pay for your meal. The ambience was cozy and vintage we liked the low key vibe it was comfortable. The food was good too, our server akash ubale was courteous and served us well. Chef Sandeep was sweet enough to enquire us about food and experience and was friendly we liked the gesture. However, we dint really like the approach of Captain Mahesh Sharma, we felt his attitude was a bit off towards us. His body language was unfriendly and it made us feel unwanted at the place. Recently visited their multi cuisine restaurant, 'The Society'. The mocktails and soup (shorba) were fine as were the starters 'Tandoori Prawns' & 'Chicken Tikka'. However the Biryani both Mutton & Chicken was too oily for our pallette. However the worst part was the crowd (or the others in the restaurant, since only two other tables were occupied). They were talking loudly on their mobiles, watching clips on social media at full volume, laughing loudly. It was impossible to have a meaningful conversation at our table with such a ruckus. The service too was barely OK, the waiters were in a hurry to dump all ordered items into our plates- irrespective of being told to serve only small portions. Sad because there was a time when the food and crowd at The Ambassador was actually really good. Probably this is how Good Hotels & Restaurants slowly fade off.
