Ordered the mixed burnt garlic fried rice and roasted chilli pork gravy. Really delectable and amazingly prepared as per my customisation.The price and quantity was sumptuous.

You take a peek into the red and white plastic bag, and voila! You fall for the food inside. Yes, that's The Silk Route for you. What impressed me about the restaurant is the fact that they called me up to ask if I wanted the sides to be in gravy or dry, which shows that they want to prepare it just the way you like. Brownie points. Their chilli chicken is superb, and as a Calcuttan, I have had my fair share of this dish in many food joints. Moreover, their chicken fried rice has a sufficient quantity of chicken and eggs, along with surprise, surprise - mushrooms and baby corns! Almost all restaurants rarely do this. So, I was already elated. The reason I cannot give a perfect 5 is because of the roasted chilli pork. In my opinion, pork tastes the best when they are thinly sliced rather than chunky pieces. Overall, I would highly recommend this place. Go ahead, give it a try.
