Pan fried chilli prawn and spicy crab meat soup. Overall disappointing. Prawn was over fried and very chewy. Soup was scary looking and tasted like a dhaba made stuff. Decided to go somewhere else for main course . Had been looking forward to visiting this place for years. Was very popular when growing up in Calcutta. I’m a regular customer of Hatari Restaurant and we’re really fond of this place…I enjoyed the foods and hospitality of this restaurant at Rashbihari Avenue outlet so many times but last day I went to Madhyamgram outlet and after the lunch one of the waiters opened the bill book twice in front of us even after knowing we’ve already paid via QR code…and they also mocked at back(which was clearly audible)…which I found is very insulting to us. Offering tips might not be possible sometimes but someone shouldn’t forget their basic etiquette.
