This is our 2nd visit to Shap ( 2nd visit to Kozhikode) after a gap of 4 years and the Shap still does not fail in its presentation. From the interiors, the menu, even the chair, even each dish is presented in an unique way and you feel like ordering it just by seeing the presentation. This time we kept our order simple as were already full. We just ordered naadan chicken curry, puttu and chakka manga thenga juice. The naadan curry was lip smacking good, puttu was ok but I felt the juice tasted better the last time.

The fish used in the curry is of poor quality. There’s too much oil. There’s no salt, tamarind, or spice. The quantity of fish is also very less and it doesn’t taste good. To make it look like more, you’ve just added fried onions.
