Right after visiting Madras Crocodile Bank, come for a meal. Indian food is nice at this place. Make a change from your habitual meal and order good indian pizza, prawns and vegetable pizza at this restaurant. Nothing can be better than trying tasty ice cream, cheesecakes and fruit salads. When visiting The Reef, it's a must to try delicious beer. Here you can have great cold coffee, fresh juices or pelican.
At this place, visitors can celebrate any event: a wedding, anniversary or birthday party. The high ratings of this spot wouldn't be possible without the pleasant staff. Cool service is something that people note in their comments. From the guests' point of view, prices are adequate. There is a charming ambiance and terrific decor at this restaurant. I visited The Reef at Chola Sheraton with high expectations, especially after hearing great reviews from friends, but my experience was a huge let down.The non-veg spread was below average, with very limited options. Under the seafood section, there were no varieties at all, only basic fish and chicken dishes. There was no mutton, no prawns, and nothing that justified the premium price of their buffet. For the whooping cost, the lack of variety felt extremely disappointing.Even the platter arrangement looked clumsy, which further reduced the appeal. The layout made it difficult to choose the food. Another surprising part was that soup and starters were not served at the table. Everything was self service, whereas my friends had clearly mentioned that earlier the soup and starters were served on the table and only the main course was buffet-style. This inconsistency in service was unexpected.Overall, the experience did not match the price point or the reputation, and I genuinely hope they improve both their spread and service soon.
