Had lunch at Pitlane Cafe today and I don't remember the last time I was so excited, amazed and happy while and after having a meal. They do a 4-course pork menu, and everything was just amazing. Started with the pork kheema garlic bread, really loaded and really delicious. Could've just had loads of it only, honestly. The bacon-wrapped sausages were also just so good, but the BBQ spareribs were the showstealer — tender, well done, and full of flavour. I love ribs anyway, so I may be exaggerating a little bit. The Nepali pork curry was another highlight: balanced, comforting, and the kind of dish that quietly stays with you. We finished with a cheesecake that was fresh, not too sweet, and a perfect wrap-up to the meal. The best cheesecake I've had in a while. It's a little bit remote, (which, on balance, adds to the experience also, I think) but absolutely worth it. Still reeling from the food high a little bit. Apologies for the lack of photos. The pitlane cafe came highly recommended to us by friends and glad to say that it didn’t disappoint. Loved the ambience, it felt like we were in a different world together removed from the hustle & bustle of our daily lives. The food is authentic, fresh and delicious. The decor is simple yet enticing. The host connects with you on a personal level and makes you feel like you’re a part of this establishment. Overall a must visit place.
