We stayed one night at Padmini Haveli, a family owned homestay. This place just blowed me away. Beautiful rooms and amazing interior. At night we had dinner prepared and it was the bes food i have tasted in my 3 weeks holiday in India. I really cannot recommend a better place

We had a late lunch at Padmini Haveli and it was sooooo delicious. The food was freshly cooked with organic and own grown vegetables. While they prepared it, we had a chai at the roof terrace. Lunch we had in the courtyard. We wish we would have stayed there. It is a family run business and they were all incredible friendly. Chittorgarh is a beautiful place to visit and this is with no doubt the place to stay.

This is the perfect place to a have a break during your travels. You can easily spend some days in this lovely Haveli, which is built around two courtyards. There is a beautiful library/reading room and an open air corridor with relaxing chairs and plants, perfect to just have some time off and read (unfortunately we planned only one night stay, so had no time to fully enjoy it). There is also a rooftop terrace, the use of it depending on the season. The rooms are tastefully decorated, with comfortable beds etc. Meals are fresh and home cooked. Parvati is your perfect host, she is happy to help you in any way. She is not only a warm person, she is the perfect guide to take you on a visit to Chittorgarh Fort, she is very knowledgeable about Indian history and heritage. We tend to visit sites mostly without a guide, but were very happy we chose Parvati to accompany us, I would strongly recommend, you won't regret it! If you are looking for a place to stay in Chittorgarh, this is it. Location wise it is also perfect.
