They haven't even provided any sauces for the soup nor food. Even smallest of restaurants provide all sauces with food

For our 32nd anniversary, my wife and I wanted to mark the occasion somewhere special, and we couldn’t have chosen better than Oriental Blossom at Hotel Marine Plaza, perfectly located along the beautiful stretch of Marine Drive. The Oriental Blossom has a quiet, understated elegance—no frills or over-the-top decor, just a warm, inviting space with soft lighting and tasteful wooden accents that create a cozy, intimate vibe. The moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile by Isha, the gracious hostess, who made us feel instantly at ease. The menu is a delightful mix of Cantonese and Szechuan dishes, thoughtfully curated by Chef Huang Te Sing, who clearly knows how to bring out authentic flavors while keeping things simple, fresh, and satisfying. We kicked off our meal with a comforting bowl of Seafood Coriander Soup for me and Sweetcorn Crab Soup for my better half. Both were flavorful, hearty, and just the right way to start. The wontons and crispy calamari followed, and I have to say—they stole the show for me. The wontons were delicate yet packed with flavor, and the calamari was perfectly crisp, with just the right amount of seasoning to keep us reaching for more. For the mains, we couldn’t resist the barbecue pork and stir-fried duck. Both were cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and bursting with bold, savory flavors. We paired them with egg fried rice and Hakka noodles, which balanced the richness of the meats beautifully, making for a satisfying and comforting meal. What truly stood out, though, was the impeccable service. Maitre D’ Able Pathan and Hostess Isha were attentive without being overbearing, offering thoughtful recommendations and ensuring that everything was just right. Their warmth and professionalism added a personal touch that made our afternoon feel even more special. The combination of delicious food, warm service, and the serene ambiance made our anniversary lunch one we’ll always cherish. In a city overflowing with dining options, The Oriental Blossom stands out—not just for its food, but for the way it makes you feel. It’s not just a restaurant; it’s a place where special memories are made. A heartfelt thank you to Chef Huang Te Sing, Able Pathan, and Isha for making our celebration so memorable.
