The café is tucked away in a quaint location, and while the path leading to it might seem uncertain at first—since you can’t spot the café from a distance—the location on the map is accurate, so just follow it. We visited for breakfast and ordered the Cheese Chilli Toast, Banana Nutella Pancakes, and Iced Tea. The food was delicious and well-prepared, but the beverage was overly sweet for my palate and had a slightly artificial taste. The décor reflects a regional charm, and there’s a cozy floor seating area in a loft-like space near the ceiling, where we chose to sit. The best part is the scenic view—the café is close to the paragliding landing site, so you can watch gliders floating above while you relax. A lovely little spot for a peaceful bite with a view! A short and scenic walk through terraced fields brings you to this charming cafe, nestled within a field alongwith a traditional Himachali wooden house that houses the kitchen and seating too. You can choose to relax in the verandah in the house or unwind under the open sky, surrounded by vast fields, and take in the famous Bir sunset while enjoying your time at the cafe. Disappointing Experience at the Northern Cafe I had high expectations for Northern Cafe, but unfortunately, my visit was a letdown. The service was not good , with no one greeting us when we arrived,and when we asked towel they said we don't have towel and after that they said let me check if possible then I will give u , food was not good I will give rate out of 1/5 .No doubt the portions were big but than there is no taste , and at morning 8:30 we asked tea there were some people we thought they are staff but they were staffs friend and they said to us staff is sleeping u will not get tea . The atmosphere also left a lot to be desired — it felt cramped and uninviting. Overall, I was really disappointed with my experience and won’t be coming back anytime soon. There are plenty of other places in the area that offer better food and service for the same price.
