Premium yet budget friendly hotel. Rooms are spacious. However, location is bit far away from prime area of Gangtok ( mg marg). Also, there are hardly any resturants near by at a walkable distance. However, one can find sharing cab options just beside hotel and deorali taxi stand is just beside the hotel

Its far away from MG Marg. It is on Deorali road near Gurudwara. Location is not good. To get to MG marg, you have to get a shared cab from within 100 m of hotel. This is pure veg hotel with very very limited food choice. Just a few paneer items, a few dal items, veg noodles, 2-3 soups , thats all. And food preparation takes very long. Service is pretty bad. I had to go to downstairs to fetch water myself. No one will serve you after 10 pm. I called room service for water, they said call restaurant. I called restaurant for water, that water never came. You cannot bring outside food into hotel, cannot get delivery in hotel, and have to eat their bland minimal choice veg food. Breakfast has very limited choice. Bread, then either puri sabji/or idli sambar, and coffee. One day we had french fries. And there is no eatery in walking distance, so you have to eat here. When I asked for local site seeing, one manager pocketed 1000 rs in name of advance (in cash) for arranging a taxi. Taxi driver took Rs 2000. I am not staying there again. I am not advising someone to stay there as well.
