After you have seen Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, visit this restaurant. If you never appeared to degust Vegetarian cuisine, take your chance at South Indian Restaurant. But a number of clients who use Google didn't give this place a high rating.

Went searching for this hole in the wall joint, encountered an indifferent owner, it cannot be called a hotel by any stretch of imagination, just a long corridor with a small showcase filled with stale sweets, there was no visible kitchen, only a small pantry, the owner after persistent goading told me that no south indian or any food was available as the cook went home since covid, the place anyways didnt look hygienic as well, please dont waste your time even looking for this joint

This south indian restaurant is located near the Pani house road. Several varieties of sweets with other items are available. But the price is quite high if you compare with our place, but good price if you look around Gangtok. Quality of the item is good but taste is not that much good. Other restaurants around this available but the price is same.
