Nestled in the heart of Chennai, The Flying Elephant is a fine dining establishment that offers a multi-cuisine experience. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a touch of elegance that adds to the overall experience. The interior design is modern and chic, with comfortable seating arrangements that make it an ideal place for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends. The price range is on the higher side, but the quality of food and service justifies it.
The Flying Elephant is located within the Park Hyatt hotel and boasts of a beautiful outdoor seating area that overlooks the pool. The establishment also has a well-stocked bar that serves a variety of cocktails, soft drinks, and wines. Some of the must-try dishes include Tandoori Broccoli, Thai Green Curry with Jasmine Rice, and Adana Kababs. For drinks, The Wild One of Mexico cocktail is a crowd favorite, while the Coconut and Carrot Soup is a unique and delicious non-alcoholic option.
While the establishment does have a few flaws, such as slow service and limited spread for the buffet, the overall experience at The Flying Elephant is a memorable one. The attentive staff, beautiful ambiance, and delicious food make it a great place to dine in Chennai.

In love with the flying elephant. I've been here countless times and they have the best food and service. Really gracious hosts. They have multi-level seating available. I would recommend the Edamame + Water chestnut dumplings, Haloumi mezze platter and mushroom empanadas for starters. Wild mushroom risotto is a good choice for main course paired with smoked twisted negroni. For desserts, I loved their oktoberfest menu: Bienenstich and Apfelstrudel. I really wish they include Bienenstich in their menu. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹1,600–1,800 Recommended dishes: Risotto the Way You Like, Water Chestnut Dim Sum Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection, Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes
